Spore Turf Club management team very petty and short sighted , should be revamped - racing legend died yet no tribute

There were some interesting articles from above forumners commenting on SNTC management for taking a silent postion on our local talent IVan Allan's death yesterday but they were all missing , maybe someone who still has it , please put it up again for the benefit of those who missed it.

It is sad that SNTC management did not pay any respect and tribute to this legendary trainer who has made a name for himself and Singapore racing and yet our turf club management treated his passing without fanfare.Are their hearts as hard as stones ? Surely a great horseman like Ivan should be given a proper send off for all that he has achieved , giving our SNTC a shot in the arm too. Who will know what is SNTC or Kranji turf club if not because of Ivan's achievements? As what has been described in the posting by Allred , the racing world knows SNTC through Ivan and becasue of his outstanding achievements in racing. He is afterall a Singaporean who had chosen to live his last days here , not even Hongkong where he had many supporters and friends.

It's a disappointment that the SNTC management treated him so badly , Senor Zorro suggested jockeys to wear black armbands and tributes on Gold cup day but all these ignored . Why so mean and high handed? Are they human? As a punter , I feel so strongly and proud of this genius and so are the many Singaporean patrons of the turf club. It is very distasteful with the shabby treatment they gave to him.

I will be getting forumners to sign on my letter of disappointment of the SNTC management for their shortsightedness in recognising Ivan's contribution to horse racing here , they ought to be reprimanded for lack of PR and management expertise in this instance again. Dont you agree that totalisator Board will be fuming if they find out SNTC turned a blind eye?
