I have just gotten my PR and about to get married, where should I buy a flat?

I am working in Raffles Place but are there anywhere near Raffles to buy new flats? I checked that the nearest is in Sengkang, but thats not so near rite? I am contempleting about buying a resale flat, but its quite expensive, any suggestions?

Hi Derrick, you could try the HDB site and view for any new flats near raffles, but most likely there wont be any. The best decision is to look for resale flats, its expensive but it is for the long run so it will be worthwhile. My landlord who is a PR told me about this one day. I am staying in Toa Payoh btw.

Relax brother....... Whats the point of getting angry, are there anything to gain in being angry? No right? just save yr breath and let it go, like water in a river, always going somewhere and someplace fulfilling its role. Can u win water? no, but u can cooperate with it.
But to the main point, I say get a place near yr working place be it a resale flat or not, once you gotten it, you will feel a real satisfaction over it, you wont regret it, that i cannot promise but there is a high chance u wont. Cheers dude.
